Before starting your journey to become healthy or healthier, these are the real questions you must first ask yourself?

How much do I value my health or love myself?  Surprisingly, many people think they are prioritizing their health and practicing "self love" but are far from it.  Therefore, I've listed 5 key aspects of what it really means to value your health.  Read, embrace, and make the adjustments.

 
5 KEY ASPECTS OF VALUING YOUR HEALTH:
  • Prioritizing Prevention: Willing to spend time and money on things that prevent illness (safer food, fitness) rather than just treating it.
  • Making Responsible Choices: Exercising self-discipline and making wise decisions about diet, exercise, stress, and sleep.  Remember, you're in charge of your well-being, and you can't get healthy/healthier eating off the $1 menu.
  • Investing in Opportunities: Seeing health investments (gym, healthy food, mental health support) as enriching your daily life and overall potential, not just as expenses.  After all, aren't you worth it?!
  • Defining "Value" Personally: Understanding that value isn't just about cost/quality; it's about achieving the outcomes you care about, like having energy, being mobile or living longer to enjoy family.  Good health should be apart of your long-term vision.
  • Health Stewardship:  Especially, for you bible believers, scripture states:  1 Cor 3:16 "“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God..." which means we are to practice being good stewards over whatever (our bodies included) the Most High God gives us.

I ain't no different than you...

I was eating 80% dirty (unhealthy) 20% clean...all I did was flip it, now I'm eating 80% clean and 20% dirty, lol. Moderation is key for me. I make sure that the dominant portion of my eating is clean, and I strongly recommend a full body juice cleanse & detox every season. At 57, I'm on zero medications, and received a good medical report from my doctor, thank GOD! I truly believe it's a result of the lifestyle changes I made years ago.
